PORTO CERVO GOES FAMILY FRIENDLY WITH
THE PROMENADE POUR LES ENFANTS
On Wednesday 2nd August the Promenade du Port, Porto Cervo’s social hub, will host an event for mums and kids to inaugurate the new Promenade Pour Les Enfants: an area dedicated to little ones and their families.
From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. kids and their families can enjoy games, art, face painting, cooking classes and yoga and exercise lessons as well as a host of surprises together with Margherita Maccapani Missoni. All summer long, each Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the Promenade Pour les Enfants will host sensorial, artistic and musical workshops by the Per Filo e Per Segno bookshop from 6 – 7 p.m. and from 7 – 8 p.m.
Costa Smeralda Sport Service will also be organising activities including Badazum (dance and Zumba), gymnastics, baby fit and yoga on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 6 – 8 p.m.
With the kids safely in good hands, mums can shop for them from a range of international and contemporary brands in Mezzanotte Store, while at Maison Jalù parents and kids can take a step back in time to the era of traditional toys fashioned from natural materials such as wood, cloth and metal. Those with a sweet tooth will love Gummy, a colourful candy shop full of sweets, marshmallows and liquorice as well as cakes and bonbons for unforgettable celebrations and birthday parties.
Winding along from the Old Port and its super yachts, the Promenade’s eclectic spirit makes it a hub that gathers under its roof gourmet restaurants, concept stores and international art galleries as well as independent boutiques and ateliers filled with local flavours. The Promenade harks back to the original project for Porto Cervo as a home to prestigious international brands alongside first class products and services, all sharing the common theme of quality and originality.
