Louise Alexander Gallery was established in 2007 directly in Porto Cervo, as one of the very first art galleries to arise in the area.
Designed by the architect Couëlle, the gallery is today an exclusive expositive space for both emerging and prominent artists (such as Arik Levy, Martìnez Celaya e Guy Bourdin), also thanks to collaborations with a number of museums and other international institutions.
The gallery's soul is represented by Frederic Arnal (who serves as Director together with his wife Ayse), computer engineer who chose to dedicate the rest of his life to art. Because, after all, as Prof. Keating said in the movie "Dead Poets Society": Medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for.
That's why Frederic and Ayse have created a more dynamic and flexible model of art gallery, that reflects their nomadic spirit and enables them to move freely throughout the year, in order to closely follow their customers and dive into the places where art comes to life.
